Brookline Village OBGYN believes that patient and staff safety is at the center of everything we do. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we ask that any patient who has any respiratory symptoms, been exposed to people who are infected or to people who have been in a high risk area, to please call us at (617) 735-8800 before her appointment to make sure she should come to the office.
We are cancelling and rescheduling ALL GYNECOLOGY AND ROUTINE appointments for the next few weeks. ONLY pregnant patients will be coming to the office; this measure will allow us to reduce the exposure to these patients, our staff and physicians. We are also trying to schedule our pregnant patients for less frequent appointments. Patients with 6 week postpartum appointments will be contacted by their providers directly to discuss any issues. Our physicians are also offering telemedicine, whenever possible, to handle non-urgent gynecologic problems.
In addition, Brookline Village OBGYN is asking all patients to come ALONE to their appointments and NOT bring children or other adults with them, again, for the safety of all involved.
This is a fluid situation and, if there are further changes, we will reach out to you.
You can postpone your appointment in two ways: by cancelling on Patient Gateway, which will trigger a return phone call from us, or by calling the office directly at (617) 735-8800 during business hours. If you have a minor issue which can be addressed in a phone call with your physician or need a short-term prescription refill, please send us a message through Patient Gateway. These appointments will be rescheduled for June at the earliest, again, for the safety of all involved.
We appreciate your patience or understanding in this challenging time and wish all of our patients continued good health. Stay safe!
